Sophia= FOURTEEN

My girl turns 14 today. 💟

I ask my kids these same birthday questions every year on their exact birthday.  No prompting.  Here are Sophia's responses on her 14th birthday. :-)

1.  What is something Mommy always says to you?  How was school?

2.  What makes Mommy happy?  Being honest

3.  What makes Mommy sad?  Lying

4.  How does Mommy make you laugh? Sometimes you make really dumb faces, and sometimes you try to say popular things like 'Sheesh' or 'No cap.' Or you say that you're like 'swagger.'  You call yourself 'shawty.' 

5.  What was Mommy like as a child?  Smart. And I think you were introverted, but you liked to be around people.  

6.  How old is Mommy?  40

7.  How tall is Mommy?  5'5, but I'm going to be taller than you!

8.  What is Mommy's favorite thing to do? I know you like to read, do photography, go get coffee with your friends, watch Friends.

9.  What does Mommy do when you're not around?  You clean, you work, do photography and go to the church, do your Bible time.

10.  If Mommy becomes famous, what will it be for? Photography

11.  What is Mommy really good at?  Making it feel like it's my birthday.

12.  What is Mommy not very good at? (laughs) Sports

13.  What does Mommy do for her job? Photography and works for the church in the kids ministry.

14.  What is Mommy's favorite food?  Steak.  I know you really like steak, it's always kinda been your favorite.

15.  What makes you proud of Mommy?  Working so hard for us, scheduling stuff for us, paying for stuff, taking us to school, and having a job on top of that.

16.  If Mommy were a cartoon character, who would she be?  You wouldn't be a cartoon character.  You would be your own character.  There's no personality like you.  Your weird enough to be your own character. 

17.  What do you and Mommy do together? Wait for the boys to get out of school.  Every. Day.  For like an hour.

18.  How are you and Mommy the same? We have very similar personalities.  We also look pretty similar.

19.  How are you and Mommy different?  I'm a little more extroverted, I think.  I have blonde hair.  My eyes are a little bit different blue.  And I think you have more freckles than me. 

20.  How do you know Mommy loves you? You tell me, and you work a lot for me.  

21.  Where is Mommy's favorite place to go?  Hawaii

22.  What makes you happy?  People.  God.  Good food.

23.  What makes you sad?  Liars.  Mean people.  Bad things happening to people in general.

24.  What makes you laugh? You.  Dad.  Briley.  My friends in general.  Memes.  And Mrs. Grainger.

25.  What is your favorite thing to do? Listen to music.  

26.  What is your favorite food and drink?  Food-  I really like everything made with potatoes.  I really like steak and fried chicken and chicken in general.  Ahhh, Chick-Fil-A.  Drink-  Dr. Pepper

27.  What is your favorite color?  Blue

28.  Where is your favorite place to go?  One of my favorite places to eat is Jay Alexanders.  Dad took me there for Valentine's Day.  It was so good.  I like shopping just in general.  

29.  What are your favorite movies or TV shows?  Shows- The Rookie, Gravity Falls, The Owl House.  Movies- Shang-Chi. Dr. Strange. The Lord of the Ring series is pretty good.  The Huntsman.

30.  What is your favorite book?  Hunger Games, the Divergent Series, Scythe, The Living Series, The Tattooist of Auschwitz
